CalTrans is rolling out major upgrades to SR-247/Old Woman Springs Road this spring—from Hwy 62 in Yucca Valley, through the Homestead Valley, all the way to Gin Road in Johnson Valley. (Yes, lots of valleys. Welcome to the desert.)

Expect smoother pavement, wider shoulders, better drainage, and safer bike access.
Night work ahead with pilot cars and 20-minute delays.
